Located a short distance out of town, but very quiet for a good night's sleep. Wonderful and helpful check-in staff; even gave us phone directions when the sat nav had a meltdown and refused to point us in the right direction. GREAT room... large, clean and very comfortable. Also had an outdoor patio with a view of the pool for relaxing and having a drink and reading. Clean and modern bathroom. Restaurant was open for dinner and breakfast with appropriate social distancing. Excellent meals that were good value for money. Very friendly and professional waitstaff. The chap on reception was really friendly - answered all my questions and told me about the Botanical Gardens, a short walk away and lovely to visit. The room was spotless and super well maintained. Obviously the staff care to do a good job. I was impressed after 2 weeks on the road around Queensland.
