Do I have to pay a tuition fee deposit? All international students (those determined as overseas for fees purposes) undertaking a taught/research Masters or a PhD are required to pay a £2000 tuition fee deposit. If you are required to pay a deposit you will be informed in your offer letter. University of Hull undergraduate students progressing directly to a postgraduate programme of study are not required to pay a deposit. The following groups are currently exempt: Hull York Medical School degrees; MA Social Work; Programmes in partnership with Kedge Business School; and those progressing into masters programmes from ONCampus Hull pre-masters study. How much should I pay? The deposit is £2000, however you are able to pay up to the full tuition fee for your course if you wish. The deposit requirement is waived for the following groups of students (upon receipt of appropriate evidence): Will I get a receipt? If you pay online using the University of Hull payment facility, you will be able to print a receipt when the payment is made.

The Department of Human Services will make an assessment to see if you need to pay this fee. This assessment is based on an evaluation of your income and assets, and they will advise you of the amount. There are annual and lifetime caps in place to limit the amount of the means-tested care fee you will need to pay. The applicant initially proposed 21 storeys but this was rejected by the planning dept because of it's massing. And she did. So I did not show up for my flight from Spain to Ukraine and flew instead to Buenos Aires, where I met her. From there we travelled back to Chile where I stayed 5 months in an Airbnb close to her house. We had a great time and also got the blessing from her parents, who are really traditional, conservative and therefore a bit complicated. Eventually she quit university for me and we planned to get settled in Taiwan where she can go to university and try to transfer her credits. I'm still a bit cautious because I'm afraid that if we don't get along, I would have to pay her flight back from Taiwan to Chile, so I wanted to travel a bit first to see if we really get along for such a serious commitment. Especially since we never lived together. So we travelled to Patagonia, Brazil, Paraguay and were on our way back to Chile when the pandemic broke out. By that time already had booked a fight to Europe, which was cancelled. We stuck 4 months in her parents' countryside home to shelter from the virus.

My husband and I and our two children, ages 5 & 6 stayed in Ventry House B & B over the August weekend 2017. Joan the Bean An Ti, is a wonderful woman and runs a beautiful guest house, spotlessly clean, with true home Irish cooking, including freshly baked hot scones for breakfast. Joan accommodated my husband and I and our children in every way possible, and my two children really took to her! We had lovely chats over breakfast and I have to say, it was a more enriching experience than staying in a faceless hotel! The Guest House is situated directly across from a most beautiful beach, where the children and my husband and I had beautiful long walks and paddles, there is also a renowned bar directly across from Joan's Guest House, which serves good pub grub and has entertainment nightly. We took a fantastic day trip to the Blaskets heading off from Dunquin Pier, where we got a guided tour of the Island from a very knowledgeable employee of the OPW, and also had a picnic on the unspoilt beach, where are children paddled with an audience of seals for playmates!!
