Fatumaru is a perfect accomodation on the waters edge, close to the town centre. The staff are professional, helpful and will do everything to make your stay perfect. You'd be really chancing it by simply arriving on Phu Quoc and expecting accommodation - I would do this if I had to on Vietnam mainland, but not on this special island. I am arriving January 18th on Phu Quoc and made my reservation September 2. I had to prove I had a paid air flight in advance - to the island - before they would reserve for me. I always just "arrive" and have never missed out on number 6 arrived in peak peak holiday time. There are a lot of new beachfront hotels now. Have never seen them all full.
