I know times are difficult and extra measures are in place. But I came across to St. Agnus on the supper boat trip expecting to eat at the Turks head. While Walking to the pub several large middle... aged men literally barged me out the way huffing and puffing up the hill. On Arrival I realised they were securing tables. The system In place at the Turks Head is you need to secure a table and then line up outside the bar to Order and give table number. Being alone I couldn't secure a table and place an order as such I was left without a table. The staff member advised me to walk around the island and a table might be free. I did there and on return no table was free. It wasn't until minutes before the return boat that a table became free. It was then obviously impossible to have any food. As such I have rated my experience at the Turks Head as poor as essentially by virtue of being a sole diner (here to inspect marine safety equipment) the ordering policy made it impossible for me to have a meal and with no other options on the island and fixed ferry times I would have hoped that staff may have shown the slightest willingness to accommodate/suggest or in some Way help me Out.
