I have an important medical related appointment in London early July, and am giving blood in my university town the day prior. I'm currently paying rent on my student accommodation even though I'm currently at home (parents didn't give me much of an option on that). I want to go back to halls later this week as it's a better environment for me mentally and in terms of being able to concentrate on my uni work. However it's a 3 hour journey on the M40/42 and my mother's worried about being pulled over and fined for this being a non-essential journey, even though it is essential in my mind. I really can't stay here. I will need to back eventually anyway as my course will be continuing into the summer as we need to complete the practical aspect before next year.
