Information for exchange students Step one Make sure you meet the criteria to get your accommodation guaranteed for the duration of your stay. Before you apply view our semester accommodation information. Please note we cannot guarantee a specific room type or site and semester students should only select those options available with a semester licence. Step two Semester and full year students can apply online via our accommodation portal from 15 June onwards with the exception of UNNC and UNMC students who can apply via our online form. You will need to indicate on our application form your order of preference from all the options available for selection. Step three We will send you a confirmation email to confirm when we receive your application. Make sure you accept the offer and terms and conditions by the deadline provided in your offer letter. Part of the legal agreement is that you will be liable to pay for the duration of your agreed stay. This can vary from 31 to 51 weeks if you are staying for a full year, or 14 to 21 weeks if you are coming for one semester only.

The process of booking your accommodation depends on what type of accommodation you need. You can find all you need to know on this page. Our online accommodation system is now open. If you are a new student who has a firm offer to study at NTU for 2021/22, you can now book your accommodation. Preparation To book NTU accommodation you will need to make us your first choice on UCAS Track, or accept your offer on our applicant portal if you applied directly. You'll then need your NTU ID number to log into the accommodation booking system. After making NTU your first choice, it can take two working days for your NTU ID to be generated - you'll need this to book NTU accommodation. Don't leave this step to the last minute if you want the best chance of securing your preferred accommodation. When you have your NTU ID, enter it on the My Password page and you'll be prompted to create your own password which will allow you to start the booking process. You should spend some time looking through our accommodation options.

It's a good idea to pick out a few different options, including private providers for City Campus accommodation, as our most popular residences get booked up quickly. Private providers do not require a password to book. Booking online When you're ready to book, choose the residence, flat and room you would like using our online booking system. We are now accepting applications from new student with a firm offer to study at NTU in 2021/22. When you're happy with your choice, check all the details and click 'Pay'. You will be required to pay a £200 refundable damage deposit at this stage. After this step: conditional offer holders won't need to do anything else at this stage. You will receive an email when your offer has been updated to complete this step.
You can find more information in your Residence Handbook, but we'd recommend bringing: pots and pans crockery and cutlery cooking utensils duvet, pillows and bedding home comforts Cancellation policy If you take a contract starting January 2021 then you will be able to cancel as long as you complete our cancellation request form by Wednesday 6 January 2021. Once this deadline has passed you will need to pay rent for the entire period of the contract. Booking flexible accommodation To book one of our 10 week PEAP contracts, contact the Accommodation team. We are not currently accepting new applications for homestay accommodation. You can review your accommodation booking through our online booking service. When you're ready to book your January start accommodation, please email the Accommodation team. We'll send you a contract for accommodation. Once you receive it you'll need to: make a payment of £200 – this is your deposit set up a payment plan for your rent sign the contract Then you just need to get ready to move in! Until then you can meet some of your new housemates on our message boards and on Facebook. It's also a good time to start thinking about what you need to bring with you.
Our accommodation in Mansfield is provided through Purseglove Property. You can find out more about their properties and what they offer on our guide to accommodation page. To book, follow these steps: Email Purseglove Property to request an accommodation application form. Include your name, student number, phone number and email address. Return your completed form to Purseglove Property, who will send you details of their available residences, opportunities to view and answer any questions. When your offer of a place on the course is confirmed, you'll need to pay a damage deposit of £300 within seven days. This will be refundable if you don't achieve the required grades to attend NTU in Mansfield, or at the end of your tenancy if there is no damage to the property. References will be checked when you're made an offer for accommodation and have paid your damage deposit – depending on the outcome, a guarantor may be required. Your rent due dates will be stated in your tenancy agreement and payments should be arranged by direct debit.
people who were in temp accommodation I think were in it until mid October but I'm not sure. They also got a pretty good discount on their rent. idk if it would be the same this year. i would check and see if there is a group chat for those not in halls in the Facebook group. I struggled with my mental health abit last year so there were times where I was not that happy. A lot of ups and downs last year! I did learn a lot about myself tho. I am definitely looking forward to my second year. I missed my firm but think I definitely made the right choice by going notts instead of my insurance choice. The campus is amazing, it has a really big sports scene with lots of options. Lots of societies. thanks so much. Hopefully I'll be given something Hey, have you heard anything back from Nottingham? I'm in the same position except I applied about 3 days later, I haven't heard anything from the uni (I've been calling them up) even though it's been like 2 weeks since I applied, my chances are looking pretty slim....
