Baguley Sanatorium was further expanded in the summer of 1914, a date that incidentally marks the beginning of the First World War. Health and council leaders reveal plans to build a 5G-enabled smart hospital in Wythenshawe. 08:08 03 April 2020 A plan drawn up by Manchester Foundation Trust and developer Bruntwood reveals plan to create a 5G-ready hospital in Wythenshawe. The plans, which will take up to 15 years of complete, will see the rebuilding and expansion of an existing hospital to include affordable housing for nurses and an 'aparthel' for patients.
