We were a group of three - a middle-aged couple and a friend - and we found the apartment perfect for self-catering, with all meals enjoyed on the terrace. It was a pleasant haven to return to after busy days sightseeing, either within or out of the city. All the delights of Ortygia, including the sea, were on our doorstep and the proximity to the sea meant cooler summer temperatures. The apartment was well-appointed and all amenities, including the wonderful markets, were within walking distance - although carrying home the goods was sometimes aided by use of the free shuttle buses! It has a big roof terrace where the whole family can easily sit. The apartment is equipped with just what it takes to get along when you are on vacation. If you don't want to eat at restaurants every night, you can easily cook a meal for the family.
