There is a lounge room with TV, DVD/CD player, and a cosy log fire for the colder months. The deluxe villa is a romantic Balinese retreat with 4-poster bed, a private plunge pool and gazebo all set in tropical gardens. Great location, magical room and great hosts! Nothing was too much trouble. Was fantastic for my wife and I to have some time together in a beautiful location. Nirvana Vista Estate Pokolbin is 14 km from Nirvana Vista Estate, while Cessnock is 17 km from the property. The nearest airport is Newcastle, 51 km from the accommodation, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. The house & garden were fantastic for a big group. So many spaces and areas to socialises together with a beautiful view. Kitchen & BBQ area well equipped for big group meals. The pool and hot dub were a particular highlight - we had a fantastic time playing & relaxing around them in the afternoon!

TRYPHENA HOUSE ACCOMMODATION Tryphena House is a unique, offgrid and iconic property right on the water, boasting its own small private pebble beach with panoramic views of Tryphena Harbour framed by Pohutukawa Trees. Formerly Great Barrier Island's post office, Tryphena House was built in the 1920's on the Eyre Homestead and is nestled in a unique location in Puriri Bay. Step off the deck, and a few metres to the bottom of the garden and you'll find yourself in the ocean. Just a 2km along the bay from Tryphena, the house is secluded but easily accessible. The house is hosted by and belongs to Pete & Lucy. We live onsite in a seperate wing of the house to guests. We are involved with guests as much or as little as they want us to be. Some love learning more about our lifestyle, helping themselves to our gardens learning how to catch and fillet a fish from Pete. Learning about the simple lifestyle is part of the charm of a Barrier holiday. Other guests are self-sufficient, we are on hand for anything but we leave them to enjoy their break.
