Hi all! My wife and I plan on visiting the 4 corners of the lower 48. Earlier this year we went to Cape Flattery in Washington, which is the Northwestern most point in the lower 48. Our next trip is going to visit the Northeastern most point in the lower 48, Quoddy Head State Park. I plan on driving from our home in Maryland up to Maine in one day, and starting our actual adventure at Quoddy Head. I need road trip ideas starting along the northern coast of Maine and ending in Maryland. I am most interested in anything northeast of NYC as we have visited a lot of locations in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and have been to the Finger Lakes in New York previously. We plan on staying at a different place each night as we drive down but are happy to extend our trip if we find a location that is really interesting. This will be our first trip to New England, and we are both excited to see the views and fall colors. I am interested in all things with engines: planes, trains, and automobiles. My wife loves antique shopping and history.

Hideaway Mountain Lodge 2 stars Fraser Located in Fraser in the Colorado region, Hideaway Mountain Lodge provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking, as well as access to a sauna. Guests can swim in the indoor pool, or go skiing. Beautiful little place in the mountains - everything was cosy, many facilities for keeping oneself entertained (incredibly cosy lounges), and one of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had. Absolutely nothing to fault and would love to come back Mein Haus Bed & Breakfast Avon Situated in Avon, 800 metres from Riverfront Gondola, Mein Haus Bed & Breakfast boasts a hot tub and ski storage space.
