Lodge is tastefully decorated and on the most part perfectly functionable for 4 adults and 2 children but not for 6 adults. I will explain why. Firstly the sofa bed is extremely uncomfortable. My daughter and her partner found it more comfortable to forget the bed and put the mattress on the floor instead. There is a large cupboard in the living area for storing bedding. Would be so much better if this was shelved and could be used to store items for the people using the sofa bed. The kitchen is well equipped with crockery, glasses etc and we appreciated the supply of loo rolls, kitchen rolls, washing up liquid etc. What was lacking was storage space for dry foods we brought ourselves. Nowhere to put cereals, tins, biscuits, snacks etc. All had to lie out. Having said this the …
