Okha Jetty is 30 KM from Dwarka, reach here by road and then take 15 minutes lunch journey by sea to reach Bet Dwarka. There is no ticket counter and you just need to seat on the boat. The journey will start once the boat is full and the journey will take 15 minutes in sea. The boatman will collect Rs 10/- from you.

Dwarakanath also referred by the name Trilok Sundar is believed to be built by Vajranabh, Lord Krishna's successor and great grandson. There are also legends which say that this temple was erected in one single day under Lord Krishna's direction. Also Lord Krishna wanted the people to leave Dwaraka when he was dying for the sea to engulf the city. That's why the legends say that original Dwaraka and four other succeeding it, are supposed to have been submerged by the sea. The present Dwaraka is the sixth city on the site. LOCATION Dwarka is situated in the Saurashtra peninsula of the Arabian Sea. It is on the extreme western side of India in the state of Gujarat. It lies on 20�22' north latitude and 69°05' east longitude. FAIRS AND FESTIVALS Janmashtmi It is the celebration of the birth of Lord Krishna. Devotees celebrate it with feasts and dances after the whole day fast. People go to temples, especially of Lord Krishna which are decorated for this day. This is celebrated in the month of August/September, is one of the major festival of Dwarka.

After getting down at the jetty at Bet Dwarka, you need to walk for nearly 700 meters to reach Lord Krishna temple.
