One of the great things about this townhouse is that there was a master suite on the ground floor, perfectly made for the hen! This room boasts a beautiful en-suite and French windows leading out onto a private courtyard complete with seating. This made a great little space for breakfast and drinks. Evening: Takeaway and drinks Our first evening in Bath was super relaxed but still really fun. Most people had travelled after work for the hen do, so they were shattered after the journey and a long day's work. So we decided to start slow and steady by getting settled in and having a pyjama party at home with good food, good drinks and even better chat. This was a great opportunity for us all to get to know each other before the weekend properly kicked off. We had canapes delivered to the house early in the evening and later ordered Gourmet Burger Kitchen on Deliveroo (there are veggie and vegan options, don't worry! ). Oh and we had one too many glasses of prosecco. We also played some classic hen party games, such as Mr & Mrs, which were a lot of fun.

OVERALL UNIVERSITY RATING Tell us about your overall university experience so far. Overall, my university experience has been mixed. I enjoy the academics, the independence, the facilities etc. However, when I first started university I wasn't able to get a space on any university ran accommodation. I looked independently and found private, university accredited halls, where I lived for the first year. I struggled to make friends during my first year and didn't find anyone to gel with. I was struggling with the social aspect and didn't know where to go to find help. This lead to me living at home during second year as I didn't have enough friends similar to me to house share with and couldn't afford the prices of private accommodation again. Another aspect was money. As I received the minimum student finance, I had to get a part-time job to fund food etc. This ruined my first year a little as I had less time to socialise etc. This is another reason as to why I stayed at home during second year.

It offers 24-hour reception, a guest laundry and en suite accommodation with free Wi-Fi access. Beautiful stay. The young lady at the reception was really friendly and helpful. Loved the underground parking facility, we really needed a secure place for our car and luggage. Lovely clean and spacious room, with everything we needed. Also very quiet, had a good sleep after a long journey. The hotel has a fab location, close to everything. We would stay here again anytime. In fact, we plan of re visiting Dunkerque soon and book this hotel again.
