We've seen more snow here in the Yorkshire Dales this week. Here are some photos I took during a walk from Gauber Bunk Barn & Den to Ribblehead train station yesterday. Here at Gauber we are very fortunate to be surrounded by beautiful countryside. Ribblehead Viaduct is just a 10-15 min walk from Gauber Bunk Barn & Den and has been my lockdown walk for the last couple of days. We reopened back in July and it has been lovely to welcome some guests back to Gauber over the past few months. We just wanted to clarify that we are currently in Tier 1(Medium Alert Level) however visiting guests should adhere to their local tier level restrictions when planning a trip. Due to current law we can only accept a maximum of 6 guests in the bunk barn. The Den i... s currently available for a maximum of 2 adults or 2 adults and 2 children(over the age of 6). I took these photos from the footpath behind Gauber so I was a couple of miles from Ingleborough hence the slightly fuzzy photos! It is now a legal requirement for us to display a QR code for guests to scan when they arrive Gauber. The purpose of this is to assist NHS Test and Trace in the fight against Covid-19. To scan the code you need to have the NHS Covid-19 app installed on you smartphone.

Excellent. Good location for cavers. Car parking space in pub car park. Homemade scones. Comfy beds. Marian Cottage 3 stars There is a kitchen with an AGA stove as well as a table and chairs. The property also features a living room with a working fireplace. Towels and bed linen are provided in this self-catering accommodation. Caroline, thank you for welcoming us in your cozy house. The lemon cake was delicious and the fresh eggs were just in time! Thanks for resolving and being ready to fix any problem. Very clean shower, comfy beds. We enjoyed every moment.
The accommodation is 33 km from Kendal, and guests benefit from private parking available on site and free WiFi. The cottage was lovely and had everything we needed and more. The kids loved the Hobbit hole play room. Would thoroughly recommend staying here. Falls Park Falls Park has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Ingleton. Windermere is 44 km from the holiday park, while Bowness-on-Windermere is 46 km from the property. The nearest airport is Blackpool International Airport, 56 km from Falls Park. The caravan was fantastic, very new and nice inside. A good location with access to outdoor activities. Good value for money and a bonus that the waterfall trail was included. This was a perfect find, tucked away in a quiet location but within short driving distance of local amenities. The hosts were brilliant - really friendly and approachable and even helped to dry our waterproofs for the following day!! Our twin bedroom had a small double bed & single bed with an en-suite. It was spotless, with kettle and tv and plenty of handsanitiser and wipes if needed. Breakfast was fab.

Halton Gill Bunk Barn is approximately 90 minutes from Leeds or Bradford by road, 2 hours from Manchester and 1 hour from Harrogate. Travelling north from Skipton-Threshfield, the Bunkbarn is on the right just before you reach the village of Halton Gill, so please look out for the green hanging sign on the right on the roadside. Do not drive into the village. Travelling east from Settle-Stainforth, when you reach Halton Gill turn right over the little bridge, and then in 50 yards you will see the green hanging sign on the left. Go over the cattle grid and the Bunk barn is on your right. The postcode for the whole village is BD23 5QN. Please do not follow the sat-nav directions into the village, but follow the directions above Please note there is no public transport
