The owner seemed to be a friendly guy, but soon he started to offer me various (not cheap) meal combination, when I insisted on chosing only from the... menu for fixed prices, he suddenly lost his interest and he was playing with his mobile for the rest of the time I spent there. While I did not get what I asked for (I have shown him what I'd like to order in the menu), at least it was not that expensive. Tea was delicious. From begining it was very pleaseant place, they served us with the best herbal tea. We usually don't drink tea, but this one was the best. We served also lunch at them,... it was the one of the best. Mr Yusuf is a very nice person, who discuss with you and he try to make you to enjoy yout visit there.
Residents will offer you a snack including home-ground coffee and sweet herbal tea accompanied by baklava and fruit in season. Then visitors can enjoy the expansive views of the desert on camel ride. It's nothing like riding a horse, by the way, and it's fun to experience these curiously appealing animals, which remain crucially important to the Bedouin people. The facilities are common bathrooms built under the sandstone rocks, with hot showers and European flush toilets. There is a large social tent to spend the evening in, where Bedouin tea is always ready. We gather here to enjoy the dinner and a cosy wood fire, and each other's company – it is also a great place to meet other interesting people who are staying with us. NOMAD CAMPING UNDER THE STARS This option is the best if it is included as part of a longer hiking or camel trip, but of course it is available for a shorter stay too. It is recommended for such people who want to experience the real desert, and adventurous enough to spend the night in the desert far from any human establishments. We have a couple of different locations in the Wadi Rum Protected Area, which are usually selected depending on the time of year. We load a jeep with all equipment, tent, mats, mattresses, bed sheets, food and water, and take you to a remote place into the desert is far from any camps. Your guide will set up the camp.

Bedouin Tent Rooms Seven Wonders Bedouin Camp provides bedouin tent rooms near Petra. For sleeping we have 53 tent rooms: 37 twin share; 10 doubles and 6 family tents. Each family tent sleeps 3-4 people. All rooms have comfortable bedding including clean sheets and blankets. Each tent has a light and an electric socket and these work between 7pm - 11pm each evening. For light after 11pm, candles are provided. There are three large communal traditional beit shar tents where you can sit and soak up the atmosphere. In winter, these are heated by fires so it's really warm even if there is a cold wind outside. We also have a palm roof alcove which is a great area during the day for sitting and sleeping and a traditional circle with mattresses for sitting out at night under the stars. Traditional Food, Beverages and Argilla Our kitchen produces fabulous meals. Only traditional food is prepared in the camp e. g. Mansif, Maglouba and Kabsa are cooked in the kitchen and Zarbe, Mende and BBQ in the open fire.
