Walking along the main strip in Koh Tao you will see a lot of different dive shops, and there are also a lot of dive resorts you can book in advance. Snorkelling If scuba diving isn't for you, snorkelling is also amazing in Koh Tao. There are lots of spots you can snorkel right off the beach, but we would also recommend a boat tour which will take you to multiple snorkelling spots. Both times we have been to Koh Tao we have gone on the Oxygen morning snorkel tour – which we'd highly recommend. You'll get to experience some of the best snorkel spots such as Shark Bay (both times we have seen reef tip sharks), and you will also visit Koh Nang Yuan. Visit Koh Nang Yuan A trip to Koh Tao isn't complete without a visit to Koh Nang Yuan. This paradise beach is so idyllic, with the clearest water, some amazing snorkelling, and an iconic viewpoint. Location is just across the road from the main walking street area and has a 7-11 directly outside for the cheese toastie lovers! Beach is 5 minutes away and the staff were awesome!
