We are back in Level 2 again. We will keep you updated as things change. The main points to note for Level 2 are set out below. The school is open to everyone, and all children must attend. At Alert Level 2 the disease is contained but there is still risk of community transmission. It is safe for children and staff to attend school as there will be appropriate measures in place, including for children and staff vulnerable to severe illness.... All non-students entering the school grounds MUST scan in or sign in at the office. Parents may take their children to the door of junior classrooms but may not enter the class. Teachers will be happy to talk to you at the door. At the end of the school day Room 2 children (and any siblings from other classes) will be walked to the front gate at 2. 55pm and will be waiting to be picked at 3pm. Sick people must stay at home. Please seek medical advice if symptoms are COVID-like, and get tested if advised to do so. If the unwell person displays relevant symptoms of COVID-19, tests positive for COVID-19, or has been in close contact with someone who tests positive for COVID-19, they must self-isolate.

The cheese rolls are superb, and the whole bakery side has lots of homemade... choices of bakery/sandwich bar goods. There is fried chicken and big breakfasts for the workers, and the plates looked piled high with sausages and tomatoes. We enjoyed eggs and cheese rolls for breakfasts and liked the Southland hospitality. Easily found at the south end of the main street, just through the town.
