The menu was limited but that wasn't really an issue for us. Ordered the wood roast pork belly and the Angus beef fillet as the mains. Both... meats were tender and complimented each of their sauces respectively. You also receive a side of potatoes and salad which was a nice touch. For dessert, we had the Vanilla panna cotta and Valrhona chocolate mousse. The panna cotta was pretty standard but the chocolate mousse was my favorite, not too rich and be perfectly honest, I did expect a little more 'wow factor' as it is a hatted restaurant, however, the food was delicious and satisfying. Props to Lincoln who looked after our table, like the other staff, he was friendly and professional. There's also a wine shop just beside the restaurant that has Point Leo merchandise, wine, and other miscellaneous goods. The sculpture park is an absolute must. The park is located directly behind the restaurant with 60 sculptures spread in and around the restaurant. Very peaceful to wander around the park and a lot of history you can learn about if you're really into it.
All the... staff were very pleasant and helpful décor, very nice wine selection. I have only one slight problem and that was after you spend a lot of money on food and wine they want to charge you to tour the sculptor garden?? More Date of visit: December 2020 Helpful? 1 Reviewed 21 December 2020 My husband, son and I enjoyed a lovely meal and wine at the Pt Leo Restaurant; it was my husband's birthday and whilst the lunch bill of $400 felt a bit exie I was happy to pay it for such a nice place. However, when... we stepped outside and we discovered that we would have to pay an additional $10 per head to walk around the Sculpture Park we felt this was an unreasonable cash grab. Despite a number of phone calls involved in the booking as well as speaking to staff before going outside, eager to walk around the grounds, we were never informed that their would be an additional cost to walk around the Sculpture park. This experience left us feeling very disappointed. There are a number of wineries with wine as good as Pt Leo's with Sculptures and lovely grounds on the Mornington Peninsula, who do not charge their dining guests to walk around their grounds.
