Great day out at nearby Meeniyan! Awesome playground for the kids at Meeniyan Recreation Reserve (older kids might like to bring their scooters to try out the skate ramps). The Bicentennial Bushwalk trail entry is just near the playground. There are lots of trail options and we just did the short loop through the bushland surrounding the footy oval- tip- keep turning right 😉. After all that walking it was the perfect time to venture into Meeniyan for some refreshing milkshakes & yummy snacks from the delightful Pandesal Bakery (Moos at Meeniyan is also another great cafe option:) Then back to the playground for a bit of a picnic and another play.
