Rung the motor camp because there website was down and could not check what accomodations were like, so I could book somewhere for my hardworking self and my 6 year old son "not party goers". I got the owners son he seemed pleasant and told me they had a double cabin available for the 1st, 2nd January. I thought cool. Took my credit card details as a safety for booking. Then the son rung back and said he has a spot on 31st as well and I said okay hold that and I'll confirm booking after Christmas. I rung up on 27th to get a rude lady on the phone and I wanted to confirm my nights for just one night on 1st. The lady screamed at me and told me it's a 3 night minimum otherwise she will cancel. Well, I wasn't left with much choice but to cancel. Then I checked my bank and the cheeky cow charged me $85 to cancel to terms I was unaware of because there website was down and not only that. I did not receive any email confirmation re the booking with terms and conditions at any point within the 2days from when I rung them Xmas eve.

The campsite is a good base for the Snowdon Ranger walk and has hot showers and good washing/drying facilities. The slightly eccentric owner makes jokes regarding bears in the woods and crocodiles in the lake however the humour soon flies out the window should you light a fire in the wrong area.
