The room was dirty, hair in the bed, cockroaches scuttling around on the floor, most of the furniture/cupboards were broken or in some state of disrepair, the toilet seat was broken and the kitchen stank so bad you could barely enter it. We immediately called the office to say this was unacceptable, and were told that they would upgrade us to a 3 bedroom apartment, which was much better than this one (and only 100RM more per night! ). Well that one was even worse, so we demanded our money back and said we would go find somewhere else to stay. The manager was reluctant to give us a refund and said that all hotels in Genting were fully booked anyway. However after we insisted he eventually gave us a full refund, after which we left and checked into a hotel (there were several with vacancies... ), which was a thousand times better than this dump and basically the same price. I would sleep in the street before I would stay here. This place is a complete disgrace and it's hard to understand why they are still in business.
